Organizations:
- Audubon in southern California. The site includes links to all southern California chapter websites, field trip listings, how and where to report bird sightings, and suggested guidebooks for the region.
- The fledgling Cecil Bird Club was founded in 1994 and is a chapter of the Maryland Ornithological Society. The club has an extremely active field trip schedule to a wide variety of locations. It conducts an annual hawk migration count in Cecil County, Maryland.
- The Georgia Ornithological Society site contains membership information, Georgia RBA transcripts, trip reports from around the state, species accounts, Christmas Bird Count and North American Migration Count data, and links to websites for our neighboring states.
- The International Crane Foundation (ICF) works worldwide to conserve cranes and the wetland and grasslands communities on which they depend. ICF is dedicated to providing experience, knowledge, and inspiration to involve people in resolving threats to these ecosystems.
- Kalmiopsis Audubon Society is the only coastal Oregon Chapter online. The site features articles on birding and environmental issues.

- The Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center (SERRC), located at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Is one of the oldest Raptor Centers in the nation. With a mission of rehabilitation, education, & research the SERRC also consults globally.
- The Washington Ornithological Society was chartered in 1988 to increase knowledge of the birds of Washington and to enhance communication among all persons interested in those birds.
- West Virginia Raptor Rehabilitation Center is a totally volunteer, non-profit organization that rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds of prey.
- The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is the largest wetland conservation charity in the UK. Founded in 1946 by the artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott at Slimbridge in Gloucestershire, WWT aims to engender care for wetlands by bringing people into close contact with ducks, geese, swans and flamingos at dedicated Visitor Centres. The newest of these will be the Wetland Centre in London, which opens May 2000.
